Tyler Webb – Design and Technical specialist – Conservation Program Coordinator
Tyler is a graduate of the University of Vermont with a Master’s degree in sustainable agriculture emphasizing grazing management. An organic dairy farmer himself, Tyler has years of academic and on farm experience and excels at a common sense approach to design and installation of fence systems. In addition Tyler spent several years working in conservation for NOFA-VT, The Vermont Association of Conservation Districts and the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service. He is well versed on conservation programs and construction specifications.
Dean Parent - Operations Manager
Dean spent his first twenty years of life raised on a family owned Franklin county dairy farm, and descends from 5 generations of dairy farmers. Agriculture is in his blood and his experience and knowledge are the proof. Dean's work history includes dairy farming, agricultural retail, excavating, construction, and managing Thunder Basin Maple Works, one of Vermont's largest sugarbushes. It is this background that has provided an exceptional understanding of farm needs and efficient project management. Dean is also our resident equine expert. He recently sat on the board of Chester's Promise Equine Assistance Program and owns two horses with his wife Jennifer, who is a lifelong equine expert.
Ethan Parent - Job Coordinator
The next generation of Vermont agriculture is in good hands with Ethan. Possessing an educational background in forestry and dairy, fencing has quickly become second nature to Ethan. In four years at Thunder Basin, he has played an important role in all aspects of the business. On the job site Ethan's familiarity with farming coupled with his attention to detail result in a superior fence in both functionality and appearance.
